Golf Cart Detailing in Central Florida

Central Florida has an enormous number of golf carts in daily use, and they are among the most neglected vehicles we see — partly because nobody thinks of them as vehicles.

What they take

  • Constant UV. Most carts live outdoors permanently, and the plastics and seats fade and become chalky.
  • Rain and humidity, which supports mildew on seats and in floor pans.
  • Grass, sand and organic debris packed into every crevice.
  • Battery corrosion on electric carts, which is both a maintenance and a safety matter.

What a cart detail involves

  • Full wash of body panels, which are painted or moulded plastic and respond well to correction.
  • Oxidation removal on faded plastics — this is where the visible transformation is, and chalky panels frequently come back remarkably well.
  • Seats cleaned and conditioned. Vinyl in Florida sun dries out and cracks, and conditioning it regularly genuinely extends its life.
  • Floor pan and under-seat areas, where debris and moisture collect.
  • Wheels and tyres.
  • UV protection on plastics and vinyl, which is the single most valuable thing on a cart because everything else follows from sun damage.

Battery area

On electric carts we clean and inspect the battery area, because corrosion on terminals is common, it affects performance, and it is easy to deal with early.

Why it is worth doing

Carts hold value and they are used constantly. A cart that has been maintained looks and sells dramatically better than one that has been left to oxidise, and the cost of keeping it that way is small relative to what a cart costs.

We detail carts across Polk County and the Orlando area. Call (863) 529-4370.
